Can The City Studios help me get my business set up legally?
Absolutely! Every new tenant receives a welcome packet with helpful information on getting your business legal, including licensing and contact resources. Have questions along the way? You can always call or text us—we’re here to support you.
How much is the security deposit?
The security deposit is due at the time you sign your lease and is equal to two weeks of rent. We accept CashApp, check, or cash for deposit payments.
How long is the lease?
Our standard lease is 12 months, but we also offer a 2-year option for those ready to fully commit to growing their business at The City Studios.
When is rent due? How do I make a payment?
Rent is due every Friday for the following work week and is processed automatically through ACH payment on Friday mornings for convenience and consistency.
What’s the size and layout of the studios?
Each location is uniquely designed! For detailed information on square footage and studio layout, refer to the location maps available on each location’s page or ask during your tour.
What’s included in my rent? Are utilities covered?
Yes! Your rent includes all utilities, such as WiFi, water, trash, electricity, and more. The only additional expenses you’ll be responsible for are your business license and renter’s insurance.
Is there a laundry facility on-site?
Yes, each location is equipped with washers and dryers, which are available for tenant use to keep your workflow seamless.
Do I have 24/7 access to my studio?
You do! All tenants receive secure 24/7 access to their studio through our Open Path system, giving you the freedom to work on your own schedule.
Is any equipment provided?
Yes—based on your profession, we provide standard equipment such as a shampoo bowl/sink, styling chair, barber chair, or esthetician bed, as well as additional essentials based on your service needs. We’ll walk you through what’s included during your tour so you can plan for any custom touches you’d like to bring in.
